We are thrilled to announce that our “Ume Udon,” available at Kazahaya Chaya, was recently featured on the TV programs “Chanto!” and “Hanasaka Times!”

This special dish, with its refreshing flavor and delightful aroma of ume (Japanese plum), is made using plums harvested at Kazahaya no Sato and reflects a unique, sustainable initiative within our local community.

The “Ume Udon” is part of a circular effort where food waste from Gyutora Co., Ltd. stores is collected by Sankoh Co., Ltd. and turned into organic fertilizer called “Yuuki Mie.” This fertilizer is then used to cultivate the plums at Kazahaya no Sato, supporting both the environment and local agriculture.

Come and enjoy a bowl of “Ume Udon” at Kazahaya Chaya and experience the connection between our community, nature, and food culture!

Price: 600 yen per bowl

We look forward to welcoming you!
